Beautiful greetings, my fellow students.
It's the beginning of a new semester and session therefore I welcome you all both old and new back to school.
It's certainly true that the country is under total recession economically so coming back here will be so tough for we the students as the cost of things has become exorbitant for we to survive with in the campus. A general economic analysis and cost survey of the prices of commodities within and around the campus has confirmed this.
Therefore, I comrade EMEKA EKWE with a team of other students in a peaceful struggle under the emblem of STUDENTS FOR PEACE INITIATIVE (SPI) Uli and igbariam campus have decided to lead a noble plea to the school management through the legislative and executive body of the student union government to ask our distinguished and fatherly vice chancellor Prof. Fidelis Okafor whom his tenure is been extended to two years to please help us cut down this tedious and enormous suffering about to face the students with a bit reductions in the amount to be paid as school fees.
SPI is willing to walk up to the the organisation of landlords and lodges caretakers in both campuses to plea for a bit reduction in the cost of accommodation for the students that stay near the campus. As for those that stay in campus, our able vice chancellor has in his great mercy, love and care renovated your hostels and cut out absolutely the cost and any other petty expenses.
The students for peace initiative stands for nobility, comfort and welfare of students in the campus. We welcome you back to campus. We will make sure your academic journey through CHUKWUEMEKA ODUMEGWU OJUKWU UNIVERSITY remains and becomes a successful one especially for the new students.
