The acting Vice-Chancellor of University of
Osun (UNIOSUN), Prof. Oguntola Alamu, has
stated that the university would graduate a
total of 3,164 students at its combined fourth
and fifth convocation .
Alamu, who stated this at a news conference
in Osogbo on Friday, said that the event had
been scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
He said that the convocation would be for
students, who graduated in the 2013/2014 and
2014/2015 academic sessions in the six
faculties of the institution.
He said that 27 of the graduates in the
2013/2014 session and 24 in 2014/2015
session bagged First Class degrees.
The vice-chancellor said that the university
had maintained a tradition of excellence in
teaching and character moulding, adding that
the school had produced intellectuals, who
were contributing to the development to the
nation’s economy.
He said that the university remained
committed to the full implementation and
evaluation of its 2012-2016 Strategic Plan.
