This article sensitizes us to the "wiles and
caprices" of the devil. It exposes two potent
weapons of Satan against humanity; that is,
seduction and deception! In his quest to quell
the power of death several years ago, a brutal
occultist sought Lucifer's aid in the kingdom of
darkness. "Take this needle. Each morning,
touch your tongue with it and recite this
incantation." He taught him the incantation and
assured him that no power whatsoever can ever
subdue him. "The only power that can destroy
you is that which is capable of melting this hard
needle." With this reassurance, he adhered
strictly to the daily rituals. One day; very early
in the morning, he placed the needle on his
tongue as usual. Just then, it started melting!
He remembered Lucifer's warning and realized
that he had been deceived. "Now, I 'm damned
if I don't act fast," he thought aloud to himself.
Trembling with fear, he fled quickly to one of the
churches he had earlier attempted to destroy.
The pastor allayed his fears and assured him of
safety. Subsequently, he denounced Lucifer and
accepted Jesus as his Lord and saviour. Did
Satan let go easily? No! He made frantic efforts
to seduce and lure him back but it was too late.
Then, he tried to harm him for exposing the
kingdom of darkness but also failed woefully.
Uhm! Is it not pathetic that several other
occultists are still under the bondage of Satanic
delusion? Is there a way of escape for them as
well? Jesus says; "I am the way, the truth and
the life. No one comes to the father but by me."
Take a clue from this testimony and act fast
also before it is too late!
