The authorities of Adamawa State University (ADSU) , Mubi have ordered the closure of the institution indefinitely due to security concerns.

In a statement from the university, signed by the Acting Registrar, Malam Hassan Tanko, students are to vacate campus immediately pending further
instructions on when to resume.
The closure of ADSU is as a result of security reports of alleged Boko Haram attack on the institution following several
waves of attacks by the insurgents in neighbouring towns of Adamawa State.

This measure is for the safety of
students and it should in no way cause panic among the university community.
