The Director of Police Education, Mr.
Ibrahim Kabiru, has revealed that the
Nigerian Police Force (NPF) have
concluded plans to establish two
additional Police Secondary Schools
in Gusau, Zamfara State and Nwangele,
Imo State to bring the total number of
such schools in the country to nine.
Kabiru, a Deputy Commissioner of Police,
who was speaking at the fifth passing
out parade of the Police Secondary
School, Ita-Ogbolu, Ondo State, said the
aim of establishing the two schools was
to enable the police increase its
contribution to the development of
education in the country.
He noted that the schools were expected
to take-off this September.
The Acting Commandant of the school,
Limcha Ahmed congratulated the outing
students for the successful completion of
their studies and urged them to be good
ambassadors of the school and their
parents as they move up the ladder.
